For God's sake! Enough of the melodrama already! This is what I'm going to go see tonight!

SPAMALOT!

And it better be funny. God knows I need some laughter in my life.

I am soooo jealous.

You should memorize the words to "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" so you can jump up and sing along.

What a great idea! That is SO totally something I would do! My AA dad is taking me with his wife and daughter. I don't think he's been in classy public with me yet. mwahahahaha!

Spam, spam, spam, spam.
Spam, spam, spam, spam.

Spammy, spam, oh spammy, spam.

But, wait a minute! Where are you? This isn't playing in Sioux Falls.

What's scrapple?

And we're going in Sioux City, IA. And I'm not driving, so I get to be all kinds of silly in the back seat.

scrapple is the east coast version of our sweet spam - made with different left overs. and sorry, matt, not nearly as good!

as a hormel babe, you know where my heart lies :)

and when i saw the show here, it was fantastic. we went with my dad and he loved it!

Way jealous also.

Got to see it when it came through Detroit. Absolutely awesome.

So good I actually have the cast recording on my iPod. Yes, musical theater that I still listen to. Almost had to turn in my hetero card for that.

I want to see it!!

Steve & I had Spam & waffles for breakfast the other day. I guess the saying is true "You can take a girl outta Austin...."

ENJOY!

I do, seriously, like Spam. In Hawai'i, my Auntie Annie introduced me to Spam Musubis, which are like Spam sushi.

Block of rice + slice of Spam + sprinkle of furikake

Wrap in nori and YUM! So delicious.

Wikipedia says they are sold in 7-11 Stores in Hawai'i. I am so jealous.

I saw it when it first premiered in Chicago (before moving to New York). If you like Monty Python's sense of humor, you'll love this show. My cheeks hurt afterwards from laughing too darn much!

OMG, I love scrapple. Love it! But if you've never had it, don't read the ingredients before you try its tasty goodness.

wow!!! I have no clue what this is about (ignore the goofy canuk in the corner!!) BUT.... Laughter is always a good thing

I hope you have a great time

JEALOUS! Let me know how it was.

BrianAlt said...

By the way, I saw it on Broadway when it first came out.

Tim Curry was King Arthur
David Hyde Pierce was Sir Robin
Hank Azaria was Sir Lancelot
Sara Ramirez was the Lady of the Lake

Sara Ramirez is on Grey's Anatomy and she won the Tony for Best Featured Actress for that role. Quite a cast!

I disagree.

Scrapple is better than spam.
