Bad Mommy

So, does anyone else wake up in the middle of the night to the noise of their cat puking and then just roll over and go back to sleep, making a mental note of the general area the retching sounds are coming from so you don't step in it in the morning?
Just wondering.

I, uh, don't know what you're talking about.
Uhhh...cat? ...Oh, ahem, yeah... the CAT, I do that all the time when I hear the...ummm...CAT puking in the middle of the night...not the children...the CAT. Yeah, that's it....wow, look at the time...gotta go!
[disappears, leaving behind cartoon-like puff of smoke]
I tell myself it's a hair ball- easy clean-up tomorrow...
Yes.
I also make a mental note to put my slippers on in the morning before I go wandering around ... after checking them thoroughly, of course.
HAHAHA I am worse I throw a pillow at him so he will go do it in another part of the house
Hope your feline roomy is ok!
Ha! How often do kitties barf hair?
I sleep w/earplugs so I don't hear the kitty barfing. But I wake up to the paper towel city cuz Mr. POSSLQ will cover it up, but he doesn't clean it up (cuz then I'd have to clean up HIS barf...bleah)
um, yeah. I don't get up for cat puke.
If he's on my bed and starts puking I shove him off. You're not a bad Mommy! ha!
Add "hope the dog eats it before the alarm goes off" and I'm right there with you.
When you step in something like that...in my head I think, "I hope it was a banana, I hope it was a banana...wait...no I don't."
My cat is dead, but when it was alive, I did that too. Dry puke is easier to clean up than wet, in my opinion.
Substitute dog for cat and I'm there.
I completely did this this morning. I swore I heard a dog (or cat) puking but it was about an hour before I wanted to get up. So I totally rolled right back over and fell back asleep. So call me a bad mommy too!
Um, YEAH! Getting up and dealing with it is just insane. It's a cat! They puke all the time! They like it.
