Happy Feet Friday

There's no feet! Because I didn't get up early enough to take a picture for you.

Why?

Because I was talking to someone new from match.com last night for TWO HOURS! And then when we got off the phone, we kept texting each other until I went to sleep.

I wish I could meet him in person and verify that there's chemistry there. But dudes! He made me laugh. Like alot. And he wasn't weirded out that I have a dead guy in my history. He didn't get all emo-shit on me like, "Oh, I'm SOOOO sorry." Like most people do. Because that's not why I tell people. I tell them because it's part of what makes me - me and it informs my being and well - I think someone who knows me should know that about me so that when I freak out about certain things, there's a reason.

Whatever.

He's funny. And he's NIIIICE. And he's an hour and a half away.

Sigh.

i'm so glad there is no feet!!! that is an awesome reason. who cares if he's an hour and a half away...that's not too crazy.

i love hearing match.com stories...mostly because i know it works, or at least mine did.

This is a very good reason for no Happy Feet Friday - a happy heart is better than happy feet!

Ooooh Fancy!!

Isn't 1.5 hours away like nothing out on the plains? Yes, I have no idea if the plains are even near you, or if they're spelled planes. No, probably not that.

Blame my CA public school education for all of this.

An hour and a half is pretty close. Good distance for a possibility.

Hour and a half isn't so bad. Is he in Minnesota or South Dakota? Scott lived about 1 hour away we met on match.com and started dating. Obviously if it works out someone would have to move, but it's close enough you could probably meet in the middle!

Good Luck! Hope he's a keeper!

Good luck with this one!

About an hour and forty five minutes separated my husband and I in the dating stages. 83 miles from drive way to driveway.

Cliche...oh so cliche....If it's meant to be............And if it IS meant to be, he's one lucky guy!

Why are the good/funny ones always far away? I've had more than my share of long distance relationships and don't advocate for them, but if you're laughing, I hope he keeps on calling!

Hour and a half away would be like me (living in San Francisco) dating a guy who lives in Oakland (factoring in bridge traffic) and I certainly wouldn't rule that out. Go for it!!!

Look at you, all giddy! One and a half hours is closer than two. Think about it. ; )

Aw! I agree with TMC! It is closer than 2. Too bad you can't fold land the way you can fold a map to make it closer.

Hey - TBHITW lived 86 miles away from me when we met. that's 1 hour, 15 minutes. 2 1/2 years later we were married. Happily ever after. And I had a LOT OF CRAP in my history - crap that made me-me.. wait, did I just write that?
