Man Hands

I can't help it. I judge a man by his hands. A purely physical characteristic that they have no control over. Awful, huh? But it's something that I can't stop myself from doing. They have to be big. And capable. And larger than mine. I don't have the nicest looking hands myself. So I don't know what that's all about.

I can't help that when I meet someone I might be attracted to, I look at their hands and picture what they would look or feel like doing things like holding my hand, stroking my hair, directing me by a small touch on the small of my back, *ahem* other things, and well. I judge them.

One of the things I miss the most about The Dead Guy is his ability to catch both my shaking hands in just one of his big paws; telling me that it was going to be alright, if I could just hang on. I miss that so, so much. And I can't help but picture that when I meet a new man. And wonder. If he would be capable of such a thing. If he would say something similar. If his hands could calm mine in an instant.

I'm aware that this scenario has a whole lot of nothing to do with his hands and everything to do with his presence, but still. I dream about it. And I judge you for it.

Ha! As a man, I can't help but imagine how my hands fit on/in/around a woman!

Nice hands are very important. I'm shallow, but small hands with short stubby fingers can never be taken seriously. I'll always think if Vienna sausages.

You might find this funny: Small Hands.

There is this outdoor show that A. watches and the host has the most horrible sausage fingers. I can't look away - I am transfixed by the horror.

Oh, I get it. I love A.'s hands. Hands are important.

They say a lot about a person.

I have big hands...but they're soft. I've gotten mixed reviews on them, but mostly negative stuff like "what kind of REAL man has soft hands" or "you've never had a hard day of work in your life"

My wife doesn't complain...so I'm good though.

I judge men on that too. They have to have functional hands, but also taken care of - short nails, etc.

For reasons I don't understand, I judge a man on his forearms.

I used to have a thing for left-handed men. Loved them. But, I married a righty. Thankfully, none of the guys I dated ever wore boat shoes ... because, that was pretty much a deal-breaker for me. See, we all have our idiosyncrasies regarding what we like about our mates!

I am a hands girl all the way. I can't help it. I LOVE my husbands hands. I would not have dated him, let alone married him if his hands were not exactly like they are.

How shallow of me! Oh, that and teeth. I'm a hands and teeth girl. I bet Freud would have a field day with me.

I'm attracted to office hands. Hands that look like they have never seen a hard day's labor.

I have long fingers, I'm double jointed, can do Spock with either hand, can double over one pinky(that got broke once!) can cross my fingers either way...and tell people foreplay is my specialty! :)
P.S. Watch me when I play cards!

The degree of pressure I feel when shaking another's hand tells me a lot about their inner thoughts.

I love hands and I too look at men's hands first. I don't know what it is, but there's something to be said for feeling safe in a man's hands.

My husband's hands are one of the things I totally love. He can play drums and guitar and do a lot of other awesome stuff with his hands. His arms are nice, too, and his legs, and... well anyway, you get the picture.

< sigh! > Thanks for talking about hands.
