Land Of The Living

I've passed back over into the land of the living. Waahoo! I was even smiling as I walked in to work this morning. Popsicles are the best thing ever for strep throat. That, and the farmer's almanac. Might have something to do with the antibiotics, but whatever. There are nasty side effects from THAT. But I'll take running to the bathroom every two minutes over feeling like death any day. I may or may not go to the gym tonight. The only lasting thing is a bit of a stuffy nose and some breathlessness that scares me and I have to talk to myself and remind me that it's just congestion and I'm not having a panic attack and calmly (I SAID CALMLY) use my inhaler and sit there quietly (QUIETLY!) until it works.

And I have an assignment for you. I go here every single day and give kibble to kitties in shelters. www.freekibblekat.com. You can get an email sent to you everyday to remind you. And if you're a dog lover, you can go to www.freekibble.com. I do the kitties every day. My sister does the puppies. You go do it too! Please? It makes me feel like a better person.

In other news, I get to see Baby Z this weekend! I am so excited! Like, so, so, so excited! My baby! I get to hold him! And feed him! And play with him! And watch him! And take him in the stroller to look at the world! Is there anything better than that?

Not for me.

So glad you are feeling better! How is the weather? Maybe a nice walk outside in the fresh air will be the perfect workout this evening. In fact, I think I might take my own advice!

If you go to the gym tonight, take it easy. Go slower than you normally walk and maybe not as long. A little exercise is a good thing, but you don't want to push your body when it doesn't have 100% energy yet!

I am so glad you are feeling better. I echo Nilsa, take 'er easy for a bit. I have a minor cold but keep running around and working and cooking and setting myself back a bit.

Good. I'm glad you're aren't knock-knock knocking on heaven's door anymore. I thought of you last night when we had a strep scare. Turned out it wasn't strep, but we were freaking out. CUZ it was me, and I slobber my kisses on everyone in the house.

You forgot to add 'and i get to dress him up like a little baby doll' because that's fun, especially with a camera...take lots of photos of him all dressed up.

I am glad you are feeling well. I'm sorry about the breathless feeling. Is that something that comes with getting older? I've noticed congestion effects me in a funky way now...this gives me something to consider.

There is nothing better than watching a baby exploring the world. Have so much fun!!!
