I Don't Have ADD.

THIS. IS. SPARTAAAAA!

Okay, so I've been trying to watch 300. And yes, men in loincloths are hot. Especially ones that shove pitchforks in other men's eyeballs. 'Tis exciting to my little brainium. But I have this problem. I can't sit still and just watch a movie. I can't. It's why I didn't bother to replace my broken television. I mean, why? The only shows I ever watched were Glee and Celebrity Rehab and I can watch those online the day after they air on tv. And I watch dvds on my laptop. See? No need for a television.

The problem lies in my inability to watch the whole thing in one sitting. I get home at about 8:30 - 9 p.m. every night of the week. And I like to be in bed by 10 or 10:30 because I am weird like that. So by the time I've made and packed my breakfast and lunch for the next day, washed my face and put on my pjs, checked my email, petted and fed the cats, done any dishes I have, scooped the litter box, etc. I really only have time for about 20 minutes of a movie or a book. Cue 300. But then I have to pause it because in the 20 minutes I have, I'm going to paint my toenails, too. Okay. Got the supplies. Go. Then I decide I should really go look at my garden because you know, something might have happened overnight. Pause. The lettuce is looking awesome and the pea pods are swelling and getting ready to pop. Sweet! Go. Then my dad calls because they like to check on me and make sure I'm not drunk or trying to kill myself. Still. I don't blame them for this anymore. Pause. Once I'm updated to the fact that my nephew pulled himself up to the coffee table and grabbed the remote first thing, (smart, smart boy) Go. Then I can't remember the last 10 minutes of the show, so rewind. Go. Oh yeah, men in loinclothes are hot.

And then it's time for bed. And tonight? I'll start over from the beginning because frankly? I don't have a clue what the plot is at this point. That, and I screwed up my toenail polish by going up to see the garden about 2 seconds after I was finished. Sigh. But then again, I might not have time tonight because my stupid shower head is clogged and that meant I had to shower in Gay Boyfriends bathroom and EWWWWW! I tried not to touch anything. And the man has rigged like 3 shower heads all over the place. What? I don't want to know. SICK.

I'm terrible at trying to split up watching a show or movie. If I don't have time to watch it in one sitting, then I'm more likely to skip watching it at all. Otherwise, like you, I get lost (and probably much more easily than you do)!

I can't sit down and watch a movie either.

But it's for a different reason.

They pretty much all SUCK!

I really don't watch much tv either and when I do, it's usually animated.

Ha ha! You totally crack me up. I rarely sit through a movie anymore either. I just can't pay attention to them!

You are funny! I have a hard time watching an entire movie (a one-hour show is a huge commitment to me, and that's with DVRing it so I can skip the commercials!). I feel your non-ADD...I blame life - there is just too much going on that needs to be checked!

I love Glee. I worship it. And last night I had a chance to watch it in bed. And what I chose to do was read a book and fall asleep.

I think choosing gardens and phone calls and toe painting is better than any movie.
