I successfully navigated having coffee with a super handsome man. I didn't talk about The Black Plague even ONCE! And the time just flew by. So much so that he finally looked at his watch and said, "Oh no! I'm going to miss my meeting! It went by so fast!" And well, that's good, right? That we were so busy talking that we didn't notice the time? Then I texted him later and told him that I had a wonderful time and he said ditto and we chit chatted awhile and then I said good night.
So there. I don't suck quite so much at talking to people as I think I do.

And I'm super glad I'm going on vacation on Friday so I don't get all weird and cally and texty and OMG YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO ME BECAUSE I LIKE YOU. Because that's what I do and that's dumb and it scares them away.
In other news. It's Baby Z's first birthday today. He is the apple of my eye. And the love of my life. Here he is at his birthday party.
