Here it is, blog friends! Your challenge to join me in pushup glory! Now, the video clearly shows that I should probably be doing sit ups instead, but please ignore that and focus on the fact that I ran a 5K and my legs look amazing. If you want to participate in the challenge, just leave a comment or send me an email at k8zimm(at)aol(dot)com and on December 13th, you just have to tell me whether or not you completed the 6 week program and I'll put you (Yes you, and not your name.) in a hat and draw for prizes. Live! Well, on video, but live as far as you're concerned.

Our current participants:
TMC
Badmuthafudruckers
Can Do Mom
[F]oxymoron
ME!

Obviously, I won't be eligible for my own prizes, but I will do before and after pictures of my glorious biceps. Game, on!

Good luck! Because of my stupid wrists I won't be joining you, but I KNOW that you will complete this program. :-)

I'm so proud of you, Kate!
I'm totally in. I've been thinking about taking up running... well, walking first, but still. :)

What were some other books you would recommend?

You are so cute! Love the cat ears randomly appearing throughout the video...I kinda want to win one!

Oh, and I'm in, although it will be more like a 5 week challenge for me as I don't know how much I'll get done in Hawaii. You never know - I might just drop on the sand and do some push ups (but I doubt it)!

I'm pumped! I recruited my best friend IRL to do this along with us, and I hope you don't mind but I threw out the challenge to my FB peeps, too.

Okay, I'm in. I'm a bit nervous because for whatever reason I've been having a lot of wrist pain. It even hurts to drive my car! I'm too young for this! So I have resorted to doing my push ups by holding onto my 3 lb. dumbbells. So far I've only been doing the push ups required in the 30 day shred. Looks like I've got to up the ante a bit!

You will totally do it, I have no doubt. Me? I think I'll stick to trying to jog and do yoga on a more regular basis and maybe through in some sit ups for good measure, lord knows I need them!
