Happy Feet Friday

These are the most recent edition of Awesome Socks My Mom Makes, and they happen to be my favorite. Feel free to drool.
Today, it is snowing. I LOVE the snow! I LOVE it! As I was sitting doing my meditation this morning, looking out the window, I was reminded of the safe feeling I had when I was at Tallgrass in the middle of the windswept, frozen prairie almost two years ago. What a gift that was. And I'm hoping that the snow always reminds me, years from now, that I can be safe and secure in my own skin. Whenever I want to.

SNOW?? Really? It's 70 here and I'm all "c'mon November, let's have a little fall"
I'm jealous of your socks, but you can keep the snow.
It's 70 degrees here, too. I love it.
I heard you got 12 inches or something.
That's not dirty. It's a snow comment you pre-vert. Quit giggling already.
Just to add to the chorus: it's 70 degrees here. It's like we're in different places or something. Weird. Enjoy your snow and your cozy socks and your safety. :)
I love the snow, though I don't think I'm ready to see it quite yet. I'll take a month or so of cold and then we can bring out the shovels! =)
How come your second toe is longer than your big toe?
t2ed, you're incorrigible.
Christian - if you look closely, you'll notice the third one is longer than my big toe, too. I'm a defect of nature.
those look not only nice and warm but spicy too. makes me think of a nice hot spicy dish of food (not your feet, the socks). makes you warm inside too :)
our snow is already gone and now it's just gray and brown. oh well.
I'm all sorts of jealous over here. Not just of the socks, but the snow too. We're lucky to get snow even once here.
Kate, someone told me that having a longer second toe is actually a dominant trait. So all of us with shorter second toes? We're recessive runts.
A longer second toe is a sign of intellegence. I found that out on the internet so I know it's true. (my second toe is obviously longer)
And then there's these comments.
