Happy Feet Friday

Okay, so these aren't homemade socks, but I think they're cute anyway. I don't have any plans for the weekend. I seriously considered going camping again because the weather is to be beuoootiful! But no. Then I thought about driving down to Omaha to go to Jitterbugs Night Out. Hmm.... That one's still on the table. But probably not. And there's a housewarming party to go to on Sunday during which I will watch football. Yes. Football. I don't think I'd ever watch it alone and think that was entertainment, but I do like to watch it with other people and laugh at them when they get so into the game they yell at the tv. And like with any sport, I don't have a dedicated team, I just cheer for wicked good plays. And the guys with long hair. I always cheer for the guys with long hair. Sexxaay.

So, to sum up, my weekend is largely open for exploits and rumination. We'll see which one wins.

*Oh* and if anyone wants to weigh in on the 30 Day Shred, as in if I should buy it, please do. Because I spent the afternoon looking at the Victoria's Secret Christmas Catalogue yesterday and the bod? It needs some updating.

A lot of the Omaha dancers are going to be at Iowa Lindy Blizzard in Des Moines this weekend, so JNO is going to be missing a lot of regulars. I'm thinking of heading there tomorrow night with a couple of dancers too. Just thought you'd like to know that.

open weekends are by far the BEST.

Have a nice time, whatever you might do. :)

No! No diet books! Just exercise more and eat more fiber and water, less processed food. You'll be fine.

You would die laughing at my house during football and basketball seasons. You would think my husband was a coach or owner. :)

You said "wicked good plays" ... hahaha, that's awesome! You've channeled the inner-Boston gal in ya!

IF you like workout videos (I don't) and you are motivated to stick to them for more than a week (I'm not), then I recommend the 30-Day Shred. Otherwise, skip it. (Maybe your library has it and you can check it our before buying it?)

I'm sort of with SoMi's Nilsa on the Shred. I've got it and it's a hard workout. I don't think it chisels you or shreds you. It does leave me sweating and usually a half pound lighter after a 20 minute workout (which by the way is more like 30 minutes with the intro and stretching) so that's something. Efficient, I guess. There's a lot of her stuff that requires having or developing upper body strength (plank, push ups, mountain climbers, etc.) which is no doubt why she has the famous Jillian arms and I have mmore the spaghetti arms.
