I Hate Shopping

I'm convinced that life would be much easier if I didn't have a 35" inseam.

It would be even better if I considered buying things that need to be ironed. But I refuse to iron. So there you go.

Sigh.

you look shorter on the internet.

my daughter has to buy men's shoes (especially sneakers). I called her bigfoot once and got stomped. lesson learned.

wash small loads, hang up straight out of the dryer will prevent many a wrinkle in clothes that normally do.

The internet is your friend. I'm pretty sure Lands End/Eddie Bauer/J Jill all carry tall sizes (I had a boss who was 6'2")

I've been internet shopping for pants since Christmas. Lands' End makes talls, but I don't need a tall "rise." Just a tall inseam. So then I found out I can order regulars and get them hemmed.

But only to 34 inches. I'm considering buying them unhemmed at the moment.

I hate shopping. Eddie Bauer only goes to 34 inches as well. And I can always unhem them, face them and only use 1/4" of the fabric to turn them up, but the pre-pressed hems never seem to go away.

It all just seems like too much work. I'd rather wear my pajamas.

I hate shopping for the opposite reason you do. Try being the size of a 12 year old in legs, but certainly not in hips / waist.

I have to hem EVERY freaking thing I buy.

Wonder why I don't wear more skirts... 'cuz it's freaking freezing in our offices year round.

Thanks for making me feel shorter than I am! If we ever dance, my head will be in your bosom like a ship at dock! :)

My mom got an iron when she married my dad.....she NEVER ever used it. At times, I would pull it out to iron a shirt while I was in high school, but she never ever touched the iron. She hates ironing. Really really hates ironing. She threw it in the trash a few years ago and now doesn't own one.

Wearing 36 length pants makes it nearly impossible to find a pair in the stores. Most stores stop at 34. Add on the fact that my waist is 32-33 and it's really tough. My hairy legs don't look very good in skirts either.

k seriously....survival tip....take clothes out of the dryer just before the cooling down cycle starts and hang them up accordingly....never have to iron again ;)
