White Christmas

Internet! It's only 3 days until Christmas! Wheeee! I don't know why I'm so dang excited this year, but I'll take it! We're supposed to have "light snow" tomorrow and "snow showers" on Friday. That's even better! Nothing like last year's blizzard, but still. Snow for Christmas seems just right.

In completely unrelated news, look what I'm thinking about doing.

Now, I just have to find one around here around the 1st of May or so. I haven't located one yet.

Also, because I'm not a horrible curmudgeon, what are YOU doing for the holidays? (Because I have discovered that it's just a normal thing that normal people ask one another this time of year.)

I'm jealous of your snow. We aren't supposed to get any snow until possibly Sunday. No white Christmas here!

And YAY for a half marathon! I found a Fleet Feet running store near me that has a training program so I think that I am going to sign up to run a half in June! :-)

I always laugh when you start off your posts with "Internet!" - you are so fun! Woohoo for Christmas snow!!! Sounds pretty. :)

I like that schedule, and am so excited for you to be training for a half marathon - you go, runner Kate!

Yay for a half-marathon!! They do marathons in Portland. Just sayin'.

Also, it is a normal question. It's a bit more personal than chatting about the weather, but not as personal as tell me your dreams...

Run Kate Run!

So, if you haven't figured it out by now, Christmas is MINE! A few years ago I insisted we stop the madness of running back and forth between families and we stay home. Turns out, my mom and my sister and family wanted to come over. It's a great day. I love it. I would love it even if it was just me and Mr. and Little Helen too. I love staying home!

You are so going to do it. I know you will! Go, Kate!

We're sticking around here for the holidays. We are low key, and I love it.

Good for you Kate! I'm exhausted just looking at that schedule.

As far as Christmas goes, just seeing both families and spending time with the boyfriend. We might go skiing, but that's up in the air.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas, no matter what you do.
