Mid or Late - It's Coming

Okay. Enough of the doom and gloom around here. Today is a new day. AND it's my birthday on Friday. I will be old. I will now be able to say I'm in my mid OR my late thirties. Before, it was just mid thirties, but when you hit 36, then you're technically in both categories for a time. When you turn 37, it's over. You are officially in your late thirties then. It's just how it is.

And I am rather hot for a soon to be 36 year old if I do say so myself. Which I just did.

What shall a 36 year old do on her birthday? I have the day off. And you all know I don't drink - or I would just stay wasted all day long. I need some suggestions. There's always the money booth at the casino - because we're in the land of Indian Casinos. They're everwhere. Or I could go dancing at David - the gay bar - which is what I did on my 35th birthday. But that's just making a habit and 36 year olds don't need habits.

Or I could sit at home and pout, but that is so very unattractive.

Oh...the yeary birthday sludge. You could spend the day gloating that you have the day off and some of us have to work...

But whatever you do, be nice to yourself and have some fun.

:)

I was going to suggest a Musketeer game, but they're only home tomorrow and next Wednesday. Tomorrow they are having a New Years Eve party! They're giving away 2000 sets of THUNDERSTICKS!!! Woo hoo! (Is that supposed to be fun?)

Another option would be to host your birthday party there!

I would pick casino, a good meal, and then dancing - but that's because I don't have many options in tiny town Mississippi. My hubby doesn't dance, so I would jump at the chance to go to a gay club to dance. My life is a little dull these days. Can you tell??

You're only as old as (the guy that) you feel. Go feel somebody young.

And happy (early) birthday!

I wish you a very Happy Birthday!

I've been 36 for a few months, and so far it's looking like a good year.

If it was my birthday on Friday, I would stock up on all the tastiest junk foods and sit down for a day of college football. The Cotton Bowl at 1, the Liberty Bowl at 4, and the Sugar Bowl at 7. But, that is just me. I'm sure you'd rather do something all girly-like.

Or you could treat yourself to some spa treatments. I'd say you've earned them!!!

I can't go over the fact that there's a gay bar in North Dakota. Who knew?!

I'm a bit older than you, and have always considered women your age to be in their prime! Women have to understand and believe, beauty is a combination of attributes, not just looking hot! Happy Birthday, and don't hide that light under a bushel on Friday!

happy almost birthday! me, i would probably get a pedicure and then put pajamas back on and read books because that's how i roll. but you seem much more interesting and fun and exciting than me, so you should... like... go sky diving? or something? because you ARE totally hot. rawr.

Make cupcakes! And then have a ball eating them. Preferably while watching movies that feature Daniel Craig's naked butt. (Do you know of any? I'm just sayin'...)

I guess I would have Gay Boyfriend scrub out the tub for you so you can have a nice, relaxing soak and then maybe the casino and a nice dinner... and dancing at the gay club isn't a bad habit to have...(I recall it was a LOT of fun back in the day when I used to do that!)

Having read the above suggestions, I vote for combining the bowling event with a spa visit.

Happy Bday!!!
