The March Blah
9:27 AM Edit This 10 Comments »I haven't much felt like blogging lately. And I think it shows. So if you've come for entertainment, it's sorely lacking around here. Whereas I'm super excited about the rain that's making the snow go away, it kinda makes me feel blah. Dark, dreary blah. But it DOES smell awesome! That fresh, I'vebeenhidinginthebasementsinceNovember sort of fresh. Which I get about a 5 minute whiff of as I'm walking in to work. And then another 5 minutes of as I'm walking out of work and then another 2 second as I walk into my second job, and another 2 seconds as I walk back OUT of my second job, another 3 seconds as I walk into the gym and then the last 3 seconds as I walk back out to my car and go home. Sigh. That's my life. Work. Other work. Gym. Home. Only last night, I had to go to the grocery store, too. Am I boring you yet? With my sad and pedantic life?
On a more positive note, I have really enjoyed going to the gym since I joined in February. I walk on average about 2 miles each time I go and on Sundays, I try to go 3 miles. The new rule is that I only get to listen to my iPod when I'm at the gym, so when I shuffle the songs, I'm all, What! I haven't heard this in FOREVER!" And I walk a little faster with a bit of a spring in my step because it's such a good song. And I've discovered that any sort of dance move that might spontaneously emit from my body will more than likely cause me to trip and sway and need to grab the sidebars of the treadmill. Coordinated, I am not. So no dancing at the gym. Noted.
But then last night I got a super bad blister.
And because I've been trying to eat better, it took me 15 mintes of reading labels to find a balsamic vinaigrette that didn't have sugar or high fructose corn syrup in it. www. organicvillefoods.org.
*Edit* It is now snowing. I die inside.

Melting like mad here too.. I just haven't felt so hot lately, and haven't been out much at all...
What about making balsamic vinaigrette? Salad dressing is evil. It's all full of horrible things.
I too am having a hard time with the blogs.
This time of year really does stink. It's raining like crazy today, which totally depresses me. I'd rather it be snow. But, I have to remind myself that rain leads to green grass and pretty flowers and all things spring and summer. And so, I put up with it.
What kind of music do you like?
I know. I get kind of over the top pissy when I read posts/tweets about how awesome it is that spring has sprung (in other parts of the world).
Stabby.
Ug. I too am having blog drearies
On top of a bad cold I haven't been cooking or even eating ...
We'll all get over it and find a new bounce in our steps.. it's just the "almost" change of seasons..
Off to see the basement cook creation! YUM!
Make your own dressing, silly lady!
Don't worry about a case of the blog-blahs. It happens. We, your readers, are here through fair and foul.
I suck at blogging too. I'm just like...nothing. Nothing is coming to me these days.
