The Bad Day

8:27 AM Edit This 15 Comments »
Strike the fact that I didn't get hurt when I fell. I did. I pulled some sort of muscle in my right side and it hurts to cough. I am stiff and sore all over. And to top it all off, I must have hit my head somehow or clacked my teeth together very hard because last night a big hunk of one of my molars broke off and now I have a hole in my mouth that will cost at least $500 to fix. And did I mention I'm on a strict budget for paying down my credit card debt? Riiiight.

Add to all that, someone or something hacked into my email account and sent everyone I know, a link to viagra. So if you got one, I'm sorry. I have no idea how that works or how it happens, but I changed my password and it should be fine now, right? Please tell me I'm right. I've had this email account for over 15 years.

It's pouring rain. I have a dentist's appointment at 11:30 and 10K training starts tonight. I'm starving because I can't eat anything because it hurts too much. I may go down to the cafeteria and get a smoothie and see how that goes. So much for my lean and green eating plan for the day. Can you tell I'm annoyed? But my mom swears that bad things happen in threes. So. I've got a fall, a tooth, and a hacker. I'm going to tell The Universe that I think I'm done with the antics now and I'd like my boring life back thankyouverymuch.

So sorry to hear all this, Kate! I got an email and was wondering, since I was quite sure you weren't sending out Viagra links.

Yes, those are three bads and you should be done now. Bleah. From here on out, I proclaim unicorns and rainbows for you. Hugs to you.

Dang, and here I thought the viagra link was your subtle way of coming on to me. :)

You may have a virus or spyware of some kind on your computer - I'd run a thorough and up-to-date virus scanner on it. Changing your password probably won't help, because it already has your address book info and can use it from any mail server to send mail that appears to come from you.

Sorry about your tooth.

Dang and I thought the tomatoes broke your fall.
Try baby food, I know it sounds gross but I had a tooth go bad on me and I couldn't afford to fix it for a week so I was stuck eating baby food for five days. Great way to lose weight.
Feel better!

I'm sorry about your fall. Stupid fall!! Hugs.

See how much I love you- I clicked on the link, and thought well that was nice of Kate to think of me and how I can save on sexual enhancement drugs. She's tops!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And knowing what you've gone through, I'm quite confident you'll make it through to the other side of this crappy day.

I wondered what that email was!

You poor thing! I feel so bad about your tooth. $500?! Yikes! :(

I got the link but I knew not to open it. I'm so sorry you're having a few crappy events. Ugh!

i figured that you would send me viagra links, but i didn't open them. ;)

are you sure that you didn't do something to your rib when you fell? that is awful. i was wondering if you just didn't notice that something was more wrong....but i was just hoping it was a little spill to make an awesome salad

That IS a bad day. So sorry! But I agree with your mom - only good headed your way from now on.

Oh. Oh. Oh... are you sure you didn't break a rib? I'm so sorry about your tooth. So painful. Just get it fixed and chalk it up. Paying down debt is important but in the long run your teeth (and overall health) is more important.

I'm sorry you had such a rotten run of things. I agree with your mom - bad things do come in threes, but now you're done!

I got the email too and immediately figured you got hacked. LOL... at least that's what I was hoping...

I don't know about threes, but I'd say you had your quota, on with the next person!
Hope the tooth pain goes away soon.

Oh, I'm glad you didn't actually think I needed Viagara...
